Designer of the Alabastro Italiano collections

Alabastro Italiano's identity is consolidated through a diverse network of international planners, designers, and architects called upon to translate the mineral's nobility into cutting-edge spatial solutions.

Andrea Bonini

Designer born in Verona in 1985, Andrea Bonini graduated in Interior Design at the Marangoni Institute in Milan and founded his own studio in 2014. Since then, he has collaborated with some of the most prestigious Italian design companies positioned in the high-end segment. The collections born from these synergies have obtained international recognition at the Salone del Mobile and have been published in the main international architecture and design magazines.

In 2019, AD Italia Architectural Digest magazine awarded him the "Seven for the Future" award as one of the best designers under 35. Bonini has completed and is currently developing projects in Italy, China, the United Kingdom, and the French Riviera. Today, his studio is located in Milan's Via Montenapoleone, the beating heart of Italian excellence.

Barbara Covi

A graduate of the University of Padua, Barbara Covi consolidated her professional experience in the United States, where she founded the COVI&PUCCIONI brand in 2015. The studio has collaborated with several designers to create decorative panels, mirrors, and furnishings for major commissions in the US and Europe. In 2018, it launched a new collection of mirrors featuring a sophisticated color gradient effect. In 2021, he actively participated in the founding of Alabastro Italiano, designing its first collection of chandeliers.

In 2022, he collaborated with renowned street artist Bradley Theodore to create “BLOW,” a pair of mirrors featuring the artist’s iconic autographed skull. In 2023, he further expanded its production with furnishings embellished with bronze finishes, antique mirrors and brass elements.

Giorgio Bonaguro

After studying Mechanical Engineering in Modena, Giorgio Bonaguro obtained a master's degree in Industrial and Interior Design at the Polytechnic School of Design (SPD) in Milan. He gained experience at prestigious architecture and design firms, including those of Lorenzo Palmeri, Francesco Faccin, the maestro Michele De Lucchi, and the critic and designer Marco Romanelli. He collaborates with numerous Italian and international firms—such as Driade, Giorgetti, Tacchini, Serax, Ichendorf, and America Moveis—and develops limited editions presented at global fairs such as Design Miami, Salone del Mobile, London Design Festival, Design Days Dubai, Maison et Objet, and Wanted Design New York.
